Take a look at the highlights from LEO Academy Trust’s virtual trip with their sister schools in Chengdu.
During the 2-day trip, the children learned about China’s ancient history and culture, practised their Mandarin, took part in a Chinese calligraphy workshop, visited the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and connected live with their friends to ask questions and learn a native song together.

Task 2 of our Beijing Opera Masks was to carefully add paint. Each colour represents a personality trait of the person behind the mask. For example🔴indicates courage🔵fierceness and🟡ambition. @LEOacademies @TrueEducation_P pic.twitter.com/M5z1sTipRt

@LEO_mandarin we're now learning the ancient Chinese cultural art of calligraphy. Children have to learn how to hold the brush and then practice different strokes. A fantastic challenge! pic.twitter.com/l0KvgxPVVC
